This role ensures products meet quality standards while supporting safe, efficient production in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Essential Responsibilities:Set up and operate manual lathes to machine pipe and piping components.Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to ensure quality and accuracy.Inspect finished products using precision measuring tools.Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following OSHA and company safety standards.Accurately document production activities and completed work.Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and customer expectations.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required.Previous experience operating manual lathes or similar machining equipment preferred.Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and precision measuring tools.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform routine machine maintenance.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Ability to safely lift up to 75 lbs. and work in a manufacturing environment.Physical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands and work environment described below outline the requirements to perform this job.
