Job Overview Job OverviewA law firm seeks a Mid-Level Financial Regulatory Associate in Seattle to join its Financial Services and Securities Enforcement Department. The role involves advising clients on payments products, regulatory inquiries, and compliance obligations across domestic and international markets. Duties Advise clients on state and federal regulatory inquiries and rulemakings. Represent clients in consumer protection matters, including FCRA, FDCPA, ECOA, and other regulations. Engage in product counseling and compliance across various markets. Collaborate with legal and business teams to address client needs. Requirements 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial regulatory matters. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with diverse teams. Excellent writing and oral communication skills. Washington Bar membership required. Education Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications Active membership in the Washington State Bar Association. Skills Understanding of fintech clients and payment products. Experience with innovative technology platforms. Proficiency in leveraging AI tools for legal research and document drafting.
