Mid-Level Mergers & Acquisitions Associate

Overview The practice focuses on mid-market mergers and acquisitions, advising strategic buyers and sellers, private companies, and investors on a wide range of transactional matters across various industries. The role involves supporting middle-market M&A, including buy-side and sell-side transactions for private companies and strategic investors. Key responsibilities include assisting with transaction structuring, due diligence coordination and management, negotiation, and closing processes. The associate will draft and negotiate transaction documents, such as purchase agreements, disclosure schedules, and ancillary agreements, and advise clients on general corporate governance and M&A-related transactional matters. The role requires collaboration with attorneys across the firm in related practice areas, including tax, real estate, employment, intellectual property, and technology transactions. The corporate group emphasizes mentorship and offers associates early responsibility for hands-on experience throughout the deal lifecycle.
