Medical Director Veterinarian

Introduction
Our client is a small animal hospital seeking a full-time Lead Veterinarian to join their practice, providing care exclusively to cats and dogs. The hospital has built an excellent reputation within the community, reflected in its exceptional 4.8-star Google rating.

Role Description and Responsibilities
The Lead Veterinarian will combine comprehensive general practice medicine with leadership responsibilities, providing wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery and dentistry. The position is suited to an experienced veterinarian who is comfortable taking on a leadership role alongside their clinical responsibilities. Doctor hours are open to discussion.

Practice Details
The hospital is well equipped and provides a full scope of general practice services, including wellness and preventative care, internal medicine, soft-tissue surgery and dentistry, alongside urgent care and orthopedic services. The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 6:30pm and Saturday from 8:00am to 1:00pm, with the hospital closed on Sundays.

Team
The hospital is home to a team of four DVMs who are supported by a great team of support staff.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold the relevant degree(s) and additional qualifications to work as a veterinarian in the United States of America (USA)
• Must hold, be in the process of, or be able to obtain, a state license for the state they are applying to work in
• Must have the right to work in the United States of America (USA), or be able to obtain the required visa to do so
