Pay Rate: $21.63 / Hour Job Schedule: Part time: Sunday 2200-0600 Full time Monday-Wednesday 1400-2200 Main hospital, Saturday-Sunday 1400-2200 at FSED How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security‑related procedures, location‑specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, including assisting with de‑escalation and reporting details to site leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas, noting unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention. Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry, loitering, and/or disruptive behavior while maintaining a professional presence in a healthcare setting. Document observations, incidents, and/or policy‑related concerns, and communicate with supervisors, staff, and first responders when needed. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required. Hospital vaccination requirements must be met. Must be willing to work in a hospital environment that may include the morgue. Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Be at least 21 years of age. Must be willing and able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment. Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare/medical‑related field. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
