Reimbursement Coordinator
The Reimbursement Coordinator will support the assistance program team with processing daily health insurance claims, reimbursements, and monthly accounts receivable reports. The Reimbursement Coordinator will use self-awareness and resources to find creative solutions to challenges.
Schedule: Full-Time (M-F), in-person in Burr Ridge, IL
Specific Duties
- Submit health insurance claim forms and explanation of benefits to designated assistance programs for reimbursement in a timely manner.
- Follow-up with claim submission issues.
- Process payments from assistance programs using DMA Pay Terminal.
- Follow-up, track and document all EFT payments from assistance program.
- Assist Front Desk in confirming enrollment into copay assistance programs if needed.
- Respond to emails/faxes regarding all copay assistance programs.
- Enter patient information into assistance programs, document balance transfers and add accurate, detailed notes to each account.
- Participate in patient call backs.
- Answer questions and directs other calls to the appropriate person or department.
- Provide consistent, excellent customer service.
- Pleasantly greet all patients by telephone or via email.
