Shipping/receiving clerk

Are you an organized, detail-oriented logistics professional who loves keeping freight moving seamlessly? We are seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving Clerk to manage incoming and outgoing inventory at our fast-paced distribution center!

In this key position, you'll be the central hub of our loading dock-verifying shipments, generating shipping labels, inspecting freight, and managing WMS documentation. If you thrive in a role that combines hands-on warehouse work with inventory management and computer documentation, we want you on our team.

salary: $20 - $23 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4:30 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Receiving Operations: Unload incoming freight, inspect deliveries for damage, verify piece counts against packing slips/bills of lading (BOL), and log items into the ERP/WMS system.
• Shipping Operations: Prepare, pack, weigh, and label outbound orders for FedEx, UPS, DHL, and LTL carriers in accordance with customer specifications.
• Documentation & Data Entry: Generate shipping manifests, packing lists, commercial invoices, and bills of lading (BOL); resolve discrepancies with carriers or procurement.
• Inventory Control: Transport received goods to designated storage bays, conduct cycle counts, and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Dock Management: Safely operate manual/electric pallet jacks or forklifts to stage freight and keep the loading dock clean, organized, and hazard-free.

The essential functions of this role include:
