Job Description Job Description Core Faculty Physician in Family Medicine Family Medicine Residency Program | Barberton, Ohio Become a vital part of our Family Medicine Residency Program in Barberton as a Core Faculty Physician . We invite both seasoned practitioners and recent graduates who are dedicated to patient care, education, and mentorship to apply. As a member of our medical group, you will be part of one of Ohio's largest integrated healthcare networks, featuring nearly 700 healthcare providers , two hospitals, and over 20 health centers. Our Barberton Family Medicine Residency Program has successfully trained close to 200 family physicians and currently supports 18 residents (6-6-6) , providing faculty with the chance to significantly influence both inpatient and outpatient education. Position Highlights Work schedule from Monday to Friday during business hours Shared weekend on-call duties (approximately every sixth weekend) No responsibilities for OB coverage or prenatal care Balanced clinical practice in both inpatient and outpatient settings Engagement in resident teaching, mentorship, precepting, and curriculum design Utilization of EPIC EMR with ambient listening technology Allocated administrative time and support for faculty development Potential for academic appointments with NEOMED and OU-HCOM Opportunities for leadership advancement within the residency, department, and healthcare system Compensation & Benefits Attractive salary based on experience Performance-based incentives linked to quality metrics Sign-on bonus, relocation support, and loan repayment assistance Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance along with a comprehensive benefits package Qualifications MD or DO degree required Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine Possession of an Ohio medical license (or eligibility to obtain one) Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Dedication to delivering high-quality, patient-centered, team-oriented care Previous teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
