Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Manager (Welding) to join our team in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our welding processes meet the highest standards of quality and safety.
This is a 1st shift position in a very-well established fabrication shop environment. If you are interested and have to relocate for the role, relocation assistance is offered and will be talked about throughout the interview process.

Responsibilities- Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures for welding operations.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Train and mentor staff on quality assurance practices and welding standards.
- Analyze quality data and prepare reports for management review.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives to improve product quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in welding technology.
- Strong knowledge of welding processes, standards, and inspection techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in quality management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certifications such as Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) are a plus.
