Step into a day shaping world-class weld quality

Based in Louisville, KY, you will guide the quality program for our welding operations on 1st shift in a long-established fabrication shop. From your morning walk-through of weld cells to afternoon collaboration with engineering, your fingerprints will be on every standard, check, and improvement that keeps people safe and products precise. Relocating to the area Consideration and assistance are available and will be discussed during the interview process.

What you will tackle

• Design, refine, and roll out quality control systems for all welding activities.
• Run routine and targeted inspections and internal audits to uphold codes and regulatory requirements.
• Work shoulder to shoulder with engineering and production to surface issues early and resolve them decisively.
• Coach and upskill teams on welding procedures, inspection methods, and quality best practices.
• Turn quality metrics into clear reports and insights leadership can act on.
• Lead root cause investigations and drive corrective and preventive actions that stick.
• Track advances in welding methods and technology to keep our program current.

What you bring

• Deep knowledge of welding processes, codes standards, and inspection techniques.
• Sharp analytical thinking with a problem-solving mindset.
• Fluency with quality management tools and software.
• Clear communication and the ability to influence across teams.
• Certification such as CWI is a strong plus.
