As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be pivotal in guiding patients through both routine and critical care scenarios. Your responsibilities will include performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures while managing both invasive and noninvasive ventilation in various healthcare environments. Your responsibilities will encompass:

• Evaluating respiratory conditions by conducting focused assessments, interpreting breath sounds and airway patency, and identifying the need for respiratory interventions.
• Administering evidence-based therapies by delivering oxygen support, aerosolized medications, airway clearance techniques, and other treatments in emergency, critical care, and acute settings.
• Overseeing ventilation and airways by assisting with artificial airway placements, initiating and adjusting both invasive and noninvasive ventilation, monitoring patient responses, and swiftly addressing clinical changes or emergencies.
• Providing support to patients and the care team by educating patients and their families, serving as a clinical resource, collaborating with physicians and nurses, and assisting in stabilizing newborns during deliveries when necessary.
• Ensuring equipment safety and maintenance by setting up, operating, and cleaning respiratory devices; guaranteeing readiness and preventive maintenance; safely transporting ventilated patients; and adhering to all infection prevention protocols.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (NBRC-RRT) certification required
• State Respiratory Therapist/Practitioner (RRT/RCP) certification for Texas required

We serve as a tertiary referral center for Tarrant County and surrounding areas within a 90-mile radius, offering comprehensive diagnostic and treatment services.
