Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a Neuroscience ICU position requiring Level 1 trauma center experience and Epic proficiency.

• Neuroscience ICU setting within a Level 1 trauma center

Requirements

• Active RN license (VA or Compact) required
• Current BLS and relevant ICU certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Level 1 trauma center experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• BSN preferred, though diploma and Associate degree graduates from accredited programs (ACEN or CCNE) are accepted

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to neuroscience ICU patients
• Facility maintains a drug and tobacco free workplace, including no smoking on campus
• Facility enforces a natural nail policy for clinical staff
• Scheduling limited to 40 hours per week unless approved by unit management
• Previous VCU Health employees must have a gap of at least six months before returning
• Time-off requests must be submitted in advance and are not guaranteed, including holidays
