Job Opening: Personal Care Aide must be certified PCA, HHA, or CNA Branch: Schenectady, NY Job Location: VA clients available in Albany NY, Cohoes NY, Watervliet NY, Colonie NY, Bethlehem NY and more. We can find clients for you near where you live! Available Shifts: Day shifts 2 to 4 hours with each client, may travel to see 3-4 clients per day depending on shift length. Up to 40 hrs/week available! Hourly Rate: $19.75/ hour for VA casework

Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required you will be traveling from client to client, and may need to shop or run errands for clients. Clients homes may also have pets, so you would need to be ok with pets (we can ask the client to put the pet in a crate or in another room).

*If you have had at least 3 months of previous caregiving experience in the last three years, you may qualify to become a PCA through our free one-day alternative competency training class.

Job Duties: Your day might include: providing a safe way for clients to feel clean and refreshed (personal care); learning some new recipes and preparing meals; tidying their home to keep them healthy and being sure they follow their medication schedule. Other care may be needed to keep them safe.

Requirements:

• Must be a certified PCA, HHA, or CNA
• Will transition CNA to HHA with a free one-day class
• Qualified nursing students can work for us as HHA's ask us how!
• If you have had at least 3 months of previous caregiving experience in the last three years, you may qualify to become a PCA through our free one-day alternative competency training class. Ask us how!
• Must be caring, dependable, & must meet health requirements
• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required
• Must be 18 or older
