Employment Counsel (Contract or Full-Time)

AMG is partnering with a global consumer products and entertainment company to identify a Contract Employment Attorney to support its in-house legal team. This role will focus on managing routine employment claims and litigation matters, including workers' compensation, wrongful termination, discrimination, and other employment-related disputes. The company is open to candidates with employer-side employment law experience, as well as litigators with a strong employment law background who can independently manage day-to-day employment matters.

Position Details

• San Fernando Valley, CA (Hybrid 4:1)
• $82 - $101/hour, based on experience
• Opportunity to be considered for either a contract or full-time Employment Counsel position
• Contract arrangement open to both full-time and part-time schedules

Role Overview

• Manage routine employment claims and litigation matters, including workers' compensation, wrongful termination, discrimination, and related disputes.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, settlement agreements, and other litigation-related documents.
• Conduct legal research, assess risk, and develop case strategies.
• Advise HR and business stakeholders on employment law issues and risk mitigation.
• Coordinate with outside counsel and manage matters through resolution.
