Position Overview The forklift operator is responsible for the safe movement, loading, unloading, staging, and organization of raw materials and finished goods in a chemical warehouse. The individual ensures safety, PPE, and compliance. Load, unload, pack, and unpack materials Label and sort incoming and outgoing shipmnets Relocate items within the warehouse Track inventory of incoming and outgoing items The Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED) 18 years or older Ability to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions, and perform basic math. Previous experience with the operation of fork trucks or other heavy machinery preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Frequently reach up to seventy-two inches. Constantly bend, lift to 50 lbs., and twist while operating forklift, retrieving products from lower shelf areas.
