Join the team and become part of our family!Shipping and ReceivingCharter Wire's 81st Street facility is currently looking to fill a 1st shift manufacturing job in our Shipping and Receiving department. In this role, you will prepare customer orders for shipment, receive incoming materials and supplies, load and unload trucks, maintain accurate inventory records, and help keep the warehouse organized. Our teams are expected to build trust and provide each other support, especially when someone is learning a new skill.Preferred QualificationsOne or more years of shipping, receiving, or warehouse experience.Experience with barcode scanning systems.Experience with online freight scheduling systems.Experience loading trucks for shipment.Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED equivalent is required, but if you don't have it that's okay! We will pay for you to get your GED through an accredited program!Forklift experience.Ability to safely load, unload, move, and organize materials within a warehouse environment.Ability to self-direct your workload and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.Basic computer, math, reading, and communication skills.Ability to follow instructions, solve basic problems, and work well as part of a team.You work safely and must be able to meet the minimum physical requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong attention to detail and accuracy.We offer comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits, along with a 401(k) plan that includes employer matching and profit sharing.
