See how your contributions will help transform vision into reality:Position Overview:Production Technician III is responsible for supporting the production engineering and management teams with implementing continuous improvement projects affecting the manufacturing process as well as troubleshooting systems, machinery, and application software.Essential Functions:Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, and continuous improvement to resolve production issuesSupports manufacturing with the design, build and installation of special jigs and fixtures that may be needed to improve production.Works with Engineering to bring new equipment and processes to the manufacturing floor.Provide training and support to production employees to ensure the highest level of productivity and qualityIdentify root cause of technical issues arising from the production line and work with team to implement solutionsPerforms repair, rebuilding or overhaul work of manufacturing or service equipment from blueprints, company manufacturing manuals, and written or verbal instructionsMaintain a high standard of conduct and comply with company policies and proceduresBuild internal testingPerform other duties as assignedDiversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.Required Qualifications:5-7 years of experience in welding and fabrication within production environmentHigh school diploma or GED required,Associates degree or technical certification preferredAbility to independently troubleshoot to the component levelAbility to take initiativeAbility to manage multiple products/projectsAbility to use a computer in a Windows based environment with MS Office]Understanding of and experience with the utilization of LSS and problem-solving toolsPossess strong written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team environmentKnowledge of procedures, instructions and documents as it relates to the quality systemPossess working knowledge of computer software applications along with strong record keeping abilitiesAble to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environmentAble to communicate effectively and in a professional manner with all functional areas in the facilityCapable to lead employees and serve as back up to Team LeadExcellent employee relations skills for all interactionsSelf-starter and detail oriented preferredWorking Conditions:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently standing and lifting heavy objects weighing 50 to 100 pounds. The employee is constantly walking, pushing/pulling, reaching, and climbing stairs. The employee is occasionally squatting, kneeling, and using fine hand movements such as tightening screws, bolts, and securing pins. Specific vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus. Environmental demands include working both indoors and outdoors and is seasonally exposed to extreme temperatures.The anticipated pay range for this position is $21.50-$28.92.
