Senior Web Developer

Role Description

The Senior Web Developer will serve as the technical lead responsible for building, maintaining, and enhancing modern websites across WordPress and Webflow. Working closely with the creative team, this individual will transform high-fidelity Figma designs into pixel-perfect, high-performing websites while managing custom functionality, API integrations, security, and ongoing maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Website Development
  • Lead backend and frontend development for custom WordPress websites using custom themes and code
  • Develop and maintain advanced Webflow websites utilizing clean, scalable architecture
  • Translate Figma and UI/UX designs into responsive, pixel-perfect websites
  • Build high-performance landing pages for digital marketing campaigns across WordPress, Webflow, or Squarespace
  • Maintain existing client websites and implement requested updates and enhancements
• API & Platform Integrations
  • Design, implement, and maintain secure API integrations
  • Configure webhooks and third-party integrations for CRMs, marketing automation platforms, and digital marketing tools
  • Support advanced attribution tracking and connected marketing systems
  • Troubleshoot and optimize integrations across multiple platforms
• Website Performance & Optimization
  • Monitor and optimize Core Web Vitals and overall website performance
  • Improve page load speeds, server response times, and frontend optimization
  • Implement technical SEO best practices including structured data and Schema markup
  • Ensure websites meet ADA/WCAG accessibility standards
• Maintenance & Quality Assurance
  • Perform ongoing WordPress core, plugin, and security updates
  • Conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments
  • Perform comprehensive cross-browser, cross-device, and cross-platform testing
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure reliable website performance
• Collaboration & Project Delivery
  • Collaborate with designers to accurately implement visual designs
  • Communicate technical solutions with internal teams and clients
  • Manage multiple development projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Contribute to continuous improvements in development workflows and best practices

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of professional web development experience
• Expert-level experience with both WordPress and Webflow
• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Proven experience translating Figma designs into production-ready websites
• Experience building custom WordPress themes and functionality
• Experience developing scalable Webflow projects using clean class structures (Client-First or similar methodologies)
• Strong understanding of responsive web development
• Experience implementing API integrations, webhooks, and CRM connections
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client projects independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Squarespace development
• Knowledge of technical SEO and structured data implementation
• Experience optimizing Core Web Vitals and website performance
• Familiarity with ADA/WCAG accessibility standards
• Experience working within agency environments
• Knowledge of marketing automation platforms and attribution tracking

Role Details

• Fully remote position
• Full-time contract role
• Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM EST
• 5–8+ years of experience required
• 90-day probationary period with performance reviews every 30 days
• 10 paid leave days per year
• 10 paid company holidays
