AWS Cloud Engineer

Sr. AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer Our client is looking for a Senior AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity with an outstanding organization. What you will be doing: Leading the implementation of Cloud tools and Technologies. Develop and implement technical efforts to design, build, and deploy AWS applications at the direction of lead architects, including large-scale data processing, computationally intensive statistical modelling, and advanced analytics. Candidate does not have to be an expert in data and analytics but must be willing to learn these areas. Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle for AWS solutions, including planning, requirements, development, testing, and quality assurance Troubleshoot incidents, identify root cause, fix and document problems, and implement preventive measures Educate teams on the implementation of new cloud-based initiatives, providing associated training as required Employ exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to see and solve issues before they affect business productivity What you bring: 5+ years of experience architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS platforms especially EKS Experience with modern DevOps tooling (e.g. Terraform, Jenkins, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes) Understanding of and experience with the five pillars of a well-architected frameworks Understanding of the value of automation, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery Proven ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, data scientists, and subject matter experts Added bonus if you have: Experience in several of the following areas: database architecture, ETL, business intelligence, big data, machine learning, advanced analytics Experience in DevSecOps practices Experience of big data pipelines and orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow, DBT, Jenkins) Must Have: Strong awareness of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, and distributed networks – Is a must. DevOps Experience – Terraform/Jenkins is a must Proficient with container systems like Docker and container orchestration like EC2 Container Service, Kubernetes, worked with Terraform.
