Sommelier With Sake Knowledge

We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Sommelier with Sake Knowledge to join our team. As a Sommelier, you will be responsible for curating an exceptional sake selection, providing expert recommendations to guests, and ensuring an outstanding dining experience. If you have a deep understanding of sake & wines and a strong commitment to customer service, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Assist guests in selecting sake & wines that pair well with their meals
Provide detailed information about different sake & wine regions and vintages
Offer recommendations based on guests' preferences and budget
Ensure proper storage and handling of sake & wines to maintain quality and freshness
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop sake & wine pairing suggestions for new menu items
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new sake & wine releases
Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional manner

Requirements:

Must be a strong team player
Proven experience as a Sommelier or similar role in a casual fine dining establishment
In-depth knowledge of sake & wines from different regions around the world
Strong understanding of food and sake & wine pairing principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to provide exceptional customer service and create memorable experiences for guests
Familiarity with cash handling procedures and point-of-sale (POS) systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
