Join our dynamic team today and find a rewarding career with a company that values you and all you bring to the table.About Your Role:As an Assistant Human Resources Manager at one of Dollar Tree's Distribution Centers, you'll assist the HR Manager in leading the DC HR function and support organizational growth, development, and change. You'll foster a culture of teamwork, inclusivity, and mutual respect while ensuring compliance with all HR policies and procedures. Your day-to-day job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:Schedule: Primarily Monday - Friday 1st shift with flexibility neededWeekend Coverage: One weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) every other week (approximately twice per month at most)Flexibility: This position supports a 24/7 Distribution Center operation. Candidates must be flexible to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.Pay Range: $72,000–$88,000 base salary, plus eligibility for a 10% target annual bonus.HR Operations & Administration:Assist the HR Manager in leading all HR functions in the DCRecruit, hire, and onboard qualified non-exempt and exempt associatesPresent new associate orientation programs and participate in onboarding activitiesPrepare and analyze weekly DC HR statistics, including turnover, corrective actions, and hiring metricsMaintain associate files in compliance with company and legal requirementsCoordinate employee engagement activities with the HR administrative teamConduct and analyze associate exit interviews to identify retention improvement opportunitiesPrepare HR reports and queries as neededEmployee Relations & Compliance:Provide employee relations support across all shiftsSupport all safety initiatives and ensure compliance with HR laws and regulationsRepresent the company in hearings and investigations when requiredMaintain associate bulletin boards to ensure compliance with labor lawsHandle confidential HR matters with discretionTeam Leadership & Development:Help lead, coach, and develop the HR administrative teamOversee payroll administration, attendance tracking, associate incentive programs, and leave documentation (FMLA/LOA/ADA)Help develop and execute training and development programs to support associates and supervisorsYour Required Skills and Experience:Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred; or equivalent experience PHR certification a plusPrevious HR experience, ideally in a distribution center environmentWorking knowledge of employee relations, workers' compensation, and recruitment processesStrong knowledge of HR laws and compliance requirementsAbility to function independently and collaboratively as part of a teamAbility to handle multiple tasks and work under pressureProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and HR systems such as ShowcaseFlexibility to work across all shifts as neededPreferred Requirements:Experience leading HR administrative teams in a high-volume distribution centerFamiliarity with associate engagement and development programsOur success is a team effort — when we reach our goals, you'll be eligible for a yearly bonus!Your Perks and Benefits: We offer a wide variety of rewards to support your health, wealth, and mental well-being.
