**This is a full-time, in-office position at our Miami, FL location.

Are you a Foreign Attorney or an Experienced Senior Trusts & Estates Paralegal looking to upgrade your career?

We are looking for a confident, persuasive professional who enjoys meeting with prospective clients, quickly builds trust, asks the right questions, can help people move past uncertainty and make decisions about protecting their families.

As the Director of Client Services in the Estate Planning Dept , you are the perfect mix of both Director of Client Engagement and Senior Trusts & Estate Paralegal.

This is NOT your usual paralegal position where you are bogged down all day drafting documents. We have a fantastic team for that already. This position is totally client-facing. You should be comfortable addressing concerns, explaining the value of sophisticated Estate Planning, discussing fees, and demonstrating to a prospective client how they move forward when our services are the right solution for them. You will create a relationship with the client that starts when they engage the firm and will become the client’s main point of contact until the conclusion of representation.

This is an established position in our firm that will supplement our established Estate Planning Department with two attorneys and four paralegals. You will be joining an existing team and systems, not building a practice from scratch. The firm provides prospective clients and the professional and administrative support necessary to serve them.

Depending on your experience, you might have go through our 120 day training program, where we will teach you our processes from the ground up.

Compensation: $80,000 Base Salary with OTE (on target earnings) benchmarked at $120,000 for this position with performance-based quarterly bonuses for hitting established KPIs.

Compensation:

Responsibilities:

If you have the experience we require, you already know what this job entails, but here are just some of the basic tasks you will do day to day:

• Conduct initial Estate Planning consultations with prospective clients.

• Listen carefully to prospective clients' goals and concerns and recommend appropriate Estate Planning solutions.

• Build trust and help prospective clients understand the value of moving forward with an appropriate Estate Plan.

• Confidently address questions and objections involving fees, timing, complexity, and family dynamics.

• Follow up when appropriate with prospective clients who are not ready to retain the firm immediately.

• Have the substantive Estate Planning knowledge re: Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Advance Medical Directives, Deeds, and other Estate Planning documents when needed.

• Be capable of conducting Estate Planning review and signing appointments and confidently answering complex client questions when needed.

• Participate in the firm's Estate Planning educational seminars, webinars, and community presentations, including occasional programs held outside regular business hours.

• Represent the firm at selected community and educational events and develop relationships with prospective clients and referral sources.

• Assist our Probate Department on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in legal services under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm setting
• Must have great time-management skills, and organizational skills

You must have the years of experience that it takes for YOU:

• to have strong substantive knowledge of Estate Planning, including Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Advance Medical Directives, and related planning documents.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to quickly establish trust and rapport with prospective and existing clients.

• Confident, persuasive communicator who is comfortable discussing fees, addressing concerns and objections, and helping prospective clients make decisions.

• Comfortable speaking in front of groups and participating in educational seminars, webinars, and community presentations.

• Willingness to participate in occasional evening or after-hours Estate Planning seminars and events.

• A genuine interest in the client-facing and growth side of an Estate Planning practice.
