Quality Inspector

Quality Assurance InspectorPerforms inspections, checks testing and sampling procedures for product manufacturing processes. Completes and approves final product inspection prior to release for distribution. May draft procedures and assist with validating or troubleshooting testing methods, including assays.Duties may include:o Following written process/assembly documentation.o Inspecting final product prior to release for distribution.o May be cross-trained in additional production areas for final product inspection.o Adhering to all safety requirements.o Adhering to approved quality documents and maintaining quality records per procedure.o May assist in training other employees on QA inspector responsibilities.o May assist in preventative maintenance of standard production equipment.o May complete process audits and identify and contribute to improvements in area.Skills, Knowledge, Training and Certifications:Proficient in a flow of manufacturing and test requirement documents.Basic understanding of GMP and GDPBasic understanding of several business systems/concepts such as Demand Flow, Statistical Process Control, Process Documentation, Empowerment, Six Sigma methods, Quality and/or Cost Improvement.Experience Level with Business Tools:Familiar with business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.Typical Education and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent1+ years of related experienceEmployee must be able to meet the following requirements with or without an accommodation:Heavy, work that will occasionally 1-33%, require employee to lift/move up to 70 lbs.
