Social Media Strategist

Location: Tiburon, CA (Hybrid 2-3 days in office required) Posted on 06/08/2026 Job Description Nuvolum is looking for a SocialMedia Strategist who knows the platforms inside and out, not from theory but from actually doing the work. You follow the algorithm changes, you know what’s performing and what’s dying, and you can take a trend and make it work for a sophisticated medical audience. This role is strategy first, but you’ll also write copy, build AI workflows, manage tools, and own the outcomes. You’ll report directly to senior leadership and work alongside our account managers across the full client portfolio of plastic surgery, oral surgery, regenerative medicine, health optimization, and medical software. If you need hand-holding or a rigid playbook to operate, this isn’t the right seat for you. What You’ll Be Responsible For Build and own the social media strategy for client accounts and Nuvolum’s internal brands across Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, X, and Reddit Stay on top of what’s actually working on each platform: algorithm shifts, format changes, emerging content types and adjust strategy in real time Direct/write copy, captions, scripts, and hooks; brief the production and content teams; keep everything pulling in the same direction Use AI tools for research, ideation, prompt engineering, and execution; this is a core part of how we work, not an ice‑to‑have Manage scheduling and publishing through Sprout Social and native platforms Own performance reporting across all accounts; use the data to make better decisions, not just fill a slide deck Work closely with account managers so social strategy connects to each client’s broader goals Sit in on client strategy conversations and contribute… this role has a seat at the table Requirements 3+ years of social media strategy experience, ideally in an agency managing multiple accounts at once Hands‑on knowledge of how Meta, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, X, and Reddit actually work, the algorithms, the formats, what performs Genuinely skilled with AI tools, prompt engineering, content creation, research, workflow building Proficient in Sprout Social and native platform analytics Strong writer across every format social demands: captions, long‑form, scripts, hooks, CTAs Comfortable managing a full analytics workload and presenting findings in a way that drives action Healthcare or medical marketing background is a plus, but social expertise is what gets you in the door Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or work that speaks for itself About Our Culture Nuvolum is a full‑service, integrated marketing and PR firm that takes pride in everything we do.
