The primary role of the Logistics Specialist (LS), (CMV) involves loading and unloading tires for warehouse storage and/or timely customer delivery, including unloading and staging of products at the customer’s business location. The LS is expected to maintain safe driving practices, deliver exceptional customer service, and foster strong customer relationships while representing TireHub professionally. Compensation and Hours The position has a starting wage of $21.00 per hour with guaranteed increases of $2.00 over your first year of employment. Monday through Saturday – fluctuating day shift hours. Role Specifics Responsible for distribution of tasks including general warehousing, delivery service, and vehicle maintenance. Loads, unloads, inspects, and tallies tires to and from transport vehicles. Follows safety standards for packing, counting, labeling, and palletizing orders. Operates forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks, ensuring safety protocols. Conducts cycle counts, tallies, and labeling for inventory control. Collects payments from customers on Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions. Ensures vehicles remain clean and in good condition; conducts pre/post‑trip inspections. Completes driver and vehicle maintenance logs regularly. Ensures compliance with TireHub policies, FMCSA regulations. Participates in ongoing training and other tasks assigned by the leader. Valid driver's license held for at least 3 years, not including a driver's permit. Must obtain and maintain CMV Medical Examiner Certificate (Medical Card) for vehicles over 10,001 lbs. Must be 21 years old. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to read, write and comprehend. Repeatedly lift, pull, push, and/or move tires (up to 50 lbs) with or without mechanical assistance. Capable of frequent bending, pulling, rolling, twisting and lifting. Multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to use computer‑based programs including an iPad. Accurately and efficiently load, unload and place tires in warehouse and delivery vehicles. Work up to 35 feet above ground‑level while tethered. Follow traffic rules by safely driving TireHub vehicles to deliver tires to customer locations. Work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with Roadnet, GPS, and navigation systems. Must be able to maintain a TireHub‑sponsored forklift certification. Must be able to maintain a valid driver’s license. Working Conditions Require lifting, pulling, pushing, and/or moving tires up to 50 lbs or greater with or without mechanical assistance. Possibly handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment (gloves, eyewear). Vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, focus adjustment. Work in non‑climate‑controlled warehouses and customer locations. Extended day, evening, and weekend work may be required. Driving during night or inclement weather may be required. Must not exceed 400 pounds in weight or 6 ft 3 in in height – physical compatibility with equipment and safety restraints (accommodations reviewed under ADA and other laws).
