Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year in Monrovia, IN . This full-time opportunity allows you to support elementary students while making a meaningful impact on their academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth in a collaborative school environment.

3rd–5th Grade Caseload
Approximately 30 Students

Qualifications:

Active Indiana Special Education Teaching License
Previous experience working with elementary special education students preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
Knowledge of IEP development, implementation, and special education compliance
Ability to create structured, supportive, and inclusive learning environments
Commitment to supporting students with diverse learning needs

Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction aligned with students' IEP goals and Indiana academic standards
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Collaborate with families, related service providers, administrators, and general education staff
Implement evidence-based academic and behavioral interventions
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment

Compensation:

$28–$32 per hour , based on experience, credentials, and district budget
