Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

$2970.24/week –

Job Summary:
Providing comprehensive medical-surgical nursing care to adult and geriatric patients, the RN will coordinate patient care, participate in education, and work collaboratively with the healthcare team. The role requires flexibility in floating between units and adherence to clinical standards.

Responsibilities:

• Administer nursing care and support to adult-geriatric patients in a med-surg setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient conditions, document findings accurately in Epic electronic health records.
• Respond promptly to patient needs, including emergency situations and vital sign changes.
• Assist with patient education and family communication regarding care plans.
• Float between Thompson, Farnum, and Kingsbury units, providing coverage across medical-surgical and stepdown units as needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Current RN license valid in New Hampshire.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA required; must be current.
• Demonstrated expertise in Epic EMR system and cardiac drips management.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment and float across units.
