Behavioral Health Clinician - IRP 2

Scope of Position OSU Harding Hospital/East Hospital-Talbot Hall provides the most comprehensive behavioral healthcare services for adults, older adults, and adolescents in central Ohio. We offer more treatment options and a more experienced and diversified staff than any other psychiatric or behavioral healthcare provider in the area. All of our outpatient, IOP, and Partial Hospitalization services include a comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis from a qualified clinician and implementation of an individualized treatment plan. We offer specialized evidence-based services for patients experiencing Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Psychosis, Trauma- and Stress-Related Disorders, and Sexual Dysfunction. We offer specialty programs in Women's Behavioral Health, Addictions, Trauma, and Neurocognitive Disorders. Talbot Hall provides the most comprehensive addiction services for adults in central Ohio, offering specialized evidence-based services for patients experiencing a Substance Use Disorder. We offer traumatic brain injury specific treatment, the latest Medicated Assisted Treatment for opiate and alcohol use disorders. We offer Detox, Intensive Outpatient, Partial Hospitalization and many Outpatient and continuing care groups. Position Summary The Behavioral Health Clinician IRP is a direct patient care position addressing all aspects of Substance Dependence Treatment. The majority of work tasks are complex, independent judgment and skills are required. Supervision is required for some decisions in the day-to-day decision making related to patient care. The Behavioral Health Clinician IRP is responsible for facilitation of the patient's care in all levels of care. The position is responsible for implementation of the treatment plan. The position requires special knowledge, skills, and competencies relating to chemical dependency education, treatment, and rehabilitation. Minimum Qualifications Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling or education accepted by the State of Ohio for licensure. Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Social Worker (LSW), or Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor II or III (LCDC) required. LPC or LSW Preferred. 0 years of relevant experience required. 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred. Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.
