Our portfolio includes poultry, beef, egg, alternative protein, salt, oils, starches, sweeteners, cocoa and chocolate.Job Purpose and ImpactThe Wastewater Technician will be responsible for wastewater treatment plant operations and environmental compliance. In this role, you will apply analytical analysis and mechanical aptitude to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and ensure that wastewater is processed efficiently and effectively.Key AccountabilitiesRuns wastewater treatment plant to ensure stable plant operations.Handles daily testing and analysis.Review and improve processes to manage administrative tasks.Enters environmental data into pre existing systems.Promote the company's safety culture.Handle complex clerical, administrative, technical or customer support issues under minimal supervision, while escalating only the most complex issues to appropriate staff.Other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum QualificationsAssociates degree or higher in science, technology, chemistry, biology, engineering or math.Computer skills (word, excel)Experience working on industrial field.Minimum of four years of related work experienceOther minimum qualifications may applyPreferred QualificationsMinimum of one year of industrial or two years of wastewater treatment experience.SAP knowledgePrior Beneficial ExperiencesSupport work processes development and improvement efforts.Ensure environmental regulatory requirements are met.Position InformationRelocation assistance will not be provided for this position.Visa sponsorship will not be provided.Position is based in Indiana/Hammond.Rotating 12hr shiftEqual Opportunity Employer, including Disability/Vet
