We currently have two openings for this same position, each working 24 hours per week. Hours : 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., three days per week (Monday through Friday). No weekends and no holidays. Position Summary: Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care for the patient from pre-operative assessment to intra-operative intervention on to the post-operative evaluation. QUALIFICATIONS: Registered Nurse in the state of Nebraska

BLS, ACLS

PALS preferred but not required Familiarity with aseptic techniques, sterilization, surgical instruments, supplies and equipment preferred. Surgical nursing experience of 1-3 years is preferred ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Performs assessment activities which include collecting, analyzing, and documenting data. Coordinates and plans needs for the surgical procedure. Implements and provides safe and therapeutic care for patients during surgical intervention.
