The Opportunity
Are you ready to change the game—our client is looking for a high-energy, strategically-minded Sales Manager to lead their growth in the sports infill market.
In the world of synthetic turf, the "engine" of the system is the infill. Whether it’s high-performance SBR, eco-friendly organics, or coated minerals, you’ll be the primary advocate for their technology. You won't just be selling a product; you’ll be ensuring athlete safety, enhancing field longevity, and partnering with architects to build the next generation of sports complexes.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Expansion: Identify and penetrate new business opportunities within the synthetic turf industry, focusing on schools, municipalities, professional sports organizations, and private athletic clubs.
- Consultative Selling: Educate landscape architects, decision makers, and general contractors on the technical benefits of our infill solutions.
- Pipeline Management: Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and bidding to closing.
- Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain strong relationships with turf manufacturers and installers to ensure our product is the "specified" choice in project blueprints.
What You Bring to the Field
- Industry Expertise: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales within the synthetic turf, sports flooring, or construction materials industry.
- Technical Literacy: Ability to discuss performance metrics like shock absorption, permeability, and environmental compliance with confidence.
- The "Hustle": A proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas in a competitive B2B environment.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel up to 50% to visit job sites and meet with decision-makers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
