Details Work in a hospital Emergency Department 13-week assignment with night shift schedule (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required Epic EMR used May float within skill set onsite or to sites within 40 miles if needed Requirements Active WI or compact RN license required Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (must be AHA) Minimum 3 years of ED experience with prior travel experience, or 5 years in a large ED without travel experience required TNCC certification preferred, renewed every 4 years NIH Stroke Scale certification preferred Ascension MOAB or CPI (Non-Violent Crisis Intervention) training preferred Additional Information Provide emergency care to a wide range of patient acuities and presentations Radius rule applies, allowing local candidates consideration at a reduced rate Candidates should discuss assignment extension with their manager approximately 45 days before the end date Only one submission per candidate allowed system-wide across Ascension positions First-time travelers with sufficient ED experience are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-736244.
