Job Description

Job Summary:
The Dual Modality CT/Radiology Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) and radiographic equipment. They assist physicians in diagnosing medical conditions through accurate image acquisition and quality control.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT and radiology imaging equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining processes and ensuring their comfort.
• Position patients accurately to obtain optimal images for diagnostic interpretation.
• Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff.
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Document procedure details and ensure proper patient record management.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid ARRT certification in Computed Tomography and Radiography.
• Possess an active state licensure or appropriate credentialing.
• Demonstrate experience in performing both CT and radiographic procedures.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
• Maintain knowledge of safety standards and radiation protection protocols.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently during weekend shifts.
