As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with professional service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $23.34 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM, Sun 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facility grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and vendor entry in accordance with site-specific procedures. Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. Have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
