Qualifications Minimum Education: Successful completion of a formal technician program or equivalent. Minimum Experience/Skills: 1+ years experience as a hospital pharmacy technician preferred. Must have demonstrated proficiency in mathematical calculations and excellent written/verbal communication skills. License/Certificates/Credentials: Pharmacy Technician or Pharmacy Intern License from the State of California is required. Valid California Driver’s License required if operating a motor vehicle for company business. Physical Demands: Prolonged, extensive or considerable standing/walking Lift/position up to 50 lbs. Push/pull up to 50 lbs of force Reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching Manual dexterity and mobility Ability to move quickly Vision Requirements: Ability to adjust vision sufficiently to perform position accountabilities Must be able to differentiate colors (color coded packaging/tablet identification) Working Conditions: Subject to varying and unpredictable situations Exposure to unpleasant elements (accidents, injuries, illness) Emergency and crisis situations Subject to irregular hours Increased stress due to multiple calls and inquiries
