Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney to join its Daphne, AL office. This location specializes in high-exposure premises and mass torts cases, as well as big truck litigation. The role involves extensive discovery, brief and motion writing, report writing, depositions, and court appearances. Duties Manage work independently after training. Collaborate with senior attorneys to manage a high-exposure practice. Write reports and briefs, take depositions, and handle discovery. Attend court regularly. Engage in trial preparation and trial in state and federal courts. Requirements 3 years of civil defense litigation experience strongly preferred. Eager to learn and open to coaching and training. Ability to work independently and take initiative. Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree required. Certifications Licensed to practice law in the state of Alabama. Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in legal research and writing.
