Registered Sonographer- Echo (CFMH)- Days (Open)

Up to $30,000 new hire sign on bonus and relocation assistance up to $7,000 is available. As a Registered Sonographer on our team, you'll have the opportunity to work in an environment deeply committed to your personal well-being and professional development within a setting renowned for clinical excellence. The registered sonographer performs a variety of technical imaging procedures and provides quality care to patients.

Responsibilities include:

• Assessing patients for procedures ordered prior to, during, and after treatment according to Imaging Services/Departmental Guidelines.
• Operating highly specialized equipment, including radiographic, CR (Computed Radiography), DR (Digital Radiography), and PACS (Picture Archive Communication System).
• Training students and staff as assigned.
• Creating a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for patients and families.
• Assessing data reflective of the patient status. Interpreting information needed to identify each patients requirement and/or specific needs, and providing care per applicable policy and procedures.
• Interacting with patients, families, visitors and all members of the healthcare team to develop, coordinate and manage the plan of care.

Requirements include:

Education: High school graduate or equivalent. Graduate of approved School of Ultrasound or equivalent training.

Experience: None

Licensure, certification, and/or registration: ARRT registry/ARDMS in one of the following areas: OB/Gyn, Abd or Neurosonography. CPR certification required.

Other: Interpersonal, technical skills and flexibility in assignments.

Compensation Range: $33.52 - $50.28

Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
