Shipping & Receiving Administrative Clerk
PrideStaff is seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving Administrative Clerk on behalf of a leading manufacturing client located in West Palm Beach. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of hands-on warehouse activity and focused administrative work. You will split your shift between the active warehouse floor (50%75% of your time) and a dedicated, air-conditioned warehouse office near the bay doors.
Key Responsibilities
- Order Processing & Verification: Accurately enter incoming orders according to strict customer specifications and route materials to the correct internal departments.
- Address & Order Accuracy: Double-check order details and delivery addresses, ensuring correct routing for clients with multiple locations.
- Logistics & Shipping Software: Utilize specialized inventory software alongside FedEx and UPS shipping systems to generate labels, schedule pickups, and maintain records.
- Receiving & Handling: Receive, inspect, log, and organize incoming materials and outgoing products.
- Documentation: Read, review, and organize shipping paperwork, packing slips, bills of lading, and work instructions.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Language Skills: Must be fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking) to thoroughly understand detailed specifications, paperwork, and safety guidelines.
- High Attention to Detail: Superior organizational skills to prevent errors in order entry, specs, and routing.
- Computer Skills: Experience with FedEx/UPS shipping software and database/ERP software (experience with MetFin is a plus).
- Physical Ability: Ability to regularly lift up to 25 lbs. (Dollies and lifts are available for larger/heavier boxes).
Work Environment & Physical Demands

- Warehouse Environment: The main floor is a non-climate-controlled manufacturing warehouse. While cooling systems are installed, conditions get extremely hot during the summer months. Candidates must be comfortable working in high-temperature environments.
- Office Space: Administrative work takes place in a small, air-conditioned office situated inside the warehouse near the bay doors.
