Position Overview
Staffing Care Pro is partnering with a home health client in the Indianapolis area to identify a part-time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide in-home therapy services. This role is ideal for an SLP seeking flexibility, autonomy, and a manageable caseload with per-visit compensation.
The Speech Therapist will evaluate, treat, and support patients in their homes, focusing on communication, cognition, and swallowing disorders while collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team.
Compensation
- $50$65 per visit (routine therapy visits)
- Higher per-visit rate for evaluations / start-of-care visits
- Per-visit pay structure (W-2)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide skilled speech therapy services in the patient's home
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment strategies and home exercises
- Complete timely and accurate documentation per agency and regulatory standards
- Communicate and collaborate with nurses, therapists, and physicians
- Follow all state, federal, and agency compliance guidelines
Qualifications
- Active Indiana Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- CCC-SLP preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a home health setting
- Reliable transportation
Preferred (Not Required)
- Prior home health experience
- Experience with adult and/or geriatric populations
