Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing inpatient surgical procedures in the operating room setting. Deliver high-quality, compassionate care while supporting surgical teams through preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases.

Responsibilities:

Assess patient conditions and prepare them for surgical procedures.
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth and safe operative processes.
Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any urgent clinical needs during surgery.
Administer medications and anesthesia as directed by healthcare protocols.
Document patient care activities accurately and timely in medical records.
Participate in on-call duties to support immediate surgical needs and emergencies.

Qualifications:

Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Proven experience with inpatient surgical or operating room nursing.
Strong understanding of perioperative protocols and aseptic techniques.
Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
Flexibility to work 40 hours per week, including weekends and on-call shifts.
