IT Assistant
$22 - $25 per hourJobleads-US
Primary Staffing is hiring an IT Assistant to support the technology needs of a fast-growing logistics and warehousing operation. This position is ideal for someone with strong problem-solving skills, basic IT knowledge, and a willingness to learn and grow within the role. Training is available for the right candidate, with opportunities for career advancement based on performance.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for computer hardware and software across multiple facilities.
- Assist employees with technical issues by phone, in person, or electronically.
- Install, configure, and update hardware and software as needed.
- Troubleshoot computers, printers, scanners, and other office equipment.
- Maintain printer toner inventory and request additional supplies when needed.
- Identify and resolve technical issues in a timely manner using available company resources.
- Support day-to-day IT needs and help ensure equipment and systems are functioning properly.
Requirements
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
- Ability to install and troubleshoot computer hardware and software.
- Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to provide technical support across multiple facilities.
- Experience with AI-assisted coding tools and basic programming knowledge is a plus.
Schedule: Standard Office Hours
Pay: $22–$25/hr, based on previous experience
