The Business Development Manager plays a pivotal role in driving business growth for Scintilla Charter—Walmart’s first party customer intelligence and advanced analytics platform. This role is ideal for a proactive, analytically minded, hunter oriented professional who excels at building relationships, influencing stakeholders, and identifying new business opportunities in a dynamic retail environment. The ideal candidate understands how to manage mutual value propositions, risks, and benefits across Walmart and supplier partners. They can inspire confidence, resolve issues through productive dialogue, and align cross functional teams to deliver measurable business outcomes. With strong business acumen, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset, this position will translate complex data into actionable insights that elevate the Walmart customer and supplier experience, drive supplier performance, and accelerate omni-channel category growth. What you'll do Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business development opportunities aligned with company objectives. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to support business expansion and shareholder value creation. Lead negotiation processes to secure favorable terms and partnerships that enhance financial performance. Utilize financial acumen to analyze market trends and emerging technologies, informing strategic sales initiatives. Communicate effectively across teams to align business development strategies with organizational goals and market demands. What you'll bring Proven experience in driving revenue growth and new business development initiatives. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence and secure favorable outcomes. Effective communication capabilities to engage and manage a wide range of stakeholders. Solid financial acumen and understanding of finance principles to support business decisions. Expertise in stakeholder management to build and maintain productive relationships. Knowledge of emerging technologies relevant to business development and sales strategies.
