Are you an experienced Property Manager looking for an opportunity to lead a thriving community while making a meaningful impact on residents and team members? Oakbrook Corporation is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a beautiful apartment community on Madison's west side.This role is ideal for a property management professional who enjoys building relationships, leading teams, driving occupancy, and creating an exceptional living experience for residents. You'll have the autonomy to manage daily operations while being supported by a respected company with a strong reputation throughout Wisconsin and Illinois.What You'll DoOversee all aspects of daily property operationsDeliver outstanding customer service and promptly respond to resident concernsLead, train, and support onsite team membersBuild and maintain positive relationships with residents, vendors, and business partnersEnsure compliance with Affordable Housing programs, including Section 42 requirementsProcess resident move-ins, annual recertifications, and income/asset verificationsManage occupancy goals, leasing activity, and resident retention effortsCoordinate move-ins, move-outs, and resident communicationsPrepare monthly reports and monitor property performanceAssist with budget preparation and expense monitoringReview leases and ensure compliance with company policies and Fair Housing regulationsOversee property inspections and maintain community standardsManage delinquency and collection proceduresRespond to after-hours emergencies when necessaryDemonstrate and uphold Oakbrook's core values in every interactionQualificationsRequired:Previous residential property management experienceSupervisory or team leadership experienceStrong organizational, communication, and customer service skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to perform routine property inspections with or without reasonable accommodationHigh school diploma or GEDValid driver's licensePreferred:Affordable Housing experience, including Section 42/LIHTCExperience managing multifamily communitiesWhat Makes You SuccessfulYou enjoy working with people and creating positive resident experiencesYou are organized, detail-oriented, and accountableYou can effectively balance compliance, operations, and customer serviceYou take a proactive approach to problem-solvingYou lead with professionalism, integrity, and a team-first attitudeWhy Join Oakbrook?At Oakbrook Corporation, we believe great communities start with great people.
