Maritime Litigation Attorney

Attorney Position

Cole, Scott & Kissane seeks an attorney with 3-5 years of maritime litigation experience.

Responsibilities:

• Take and defend depositions
• Draft and argue dispositive motions
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials
• Perform legal research and provide analysis of case law
• Prepare pleadings and correspondence
• Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel
• Provide exemplary legal counsel to clients

Qualifications:

• Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar
• Must have 3-5 years of experience in maritime law
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
