Multiple contract opportunities are available across four dynamic locations in the Glendale, AZ, area—serving students from lower elementary through post-high school transition programs. With school hours from 7:45am–3:15pm and a consistent 40-hour workweek, you’ll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and impact learners with a wide range of needs.

Ideal candidates will hold a valid Special Education Teacher certification, with a strong preference for those certified in Moderate/Severe disabilities—particularly for a high school role. Interview availability is flexible, with spots open between 9am and 4pm for immediate consideration.

What you’ll bring:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification (Moderate/Severe endorsement highly sought, especially for high school)
• Experience working with students ages 5–22, including those with autism, emotional/behavioral challenges, developmental delays, and learning disabilities
• Ability to create structured, supportive, and responsive classroom environments tailored to a diversity of learning profiles
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Collaborative mindset with enthusiasm for working closely with teachers, support staff, and families

A day in this role includes:

• Developing and implementing individualized educational programs targeting basic academics, behavior regulation, and social skills for younger students
• Supporting emotional regulation, independence, and peer interactions for upper elementary and middle school students
• Facilitating job readiness, life skills, and transition planning for high school and post-high school students
• Collecting data, monitoring progress, and adapting instruction to meet evolving student needs
• Fostering a safe, inclusive learning environment to empower each student’s growth
