We’re looking for a friendly Customer Retention Specialist to join our team. The right fit is someone who understands old-school customer service.

If you are genuinely customer service driven and enjoy supporting people with their insurance needs, we would love to hear from you.  Our mission is to ensure every interaction leaves our customers feeling supported and that all their questions are answered.  

Property & Casualty (P&C) License is preferred but not required.  You must be willing to obtain your Property and Casualty License before your start date.  

While experience in insurance is a plus, the most important qualification is your ability to deliver excellent customer service: listening carefully, communicating clearly, resolving concerns professionally, and following through until the job is completed.  

Required Qualifications

o    Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

o    Professional phone etiquette and customer interaction skills

o    Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

o    Reliability and ability to work consistently scheduled hours 

Responsibilities
o    Document all customer interactions clearly and accurately

o    Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a friendly, professional manner

o    Keep customers informed of next steps and timelines

o    Scheduling appointments in several books 

o    Research and resolve issues efficiently while meeting standard operating procedures set form by the office 

o    Offer assistance answering billing, coverage, and policy questions

o    Maintain a calm, professional demeanor while handling customer concerns 

o    Work with and collaborate with fellow team members respectfully

o    Participate in training and continuing education to advance oneself professionally and to aid in growth of the office.  

Preferred Qualifications

• Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance License but not required
• Previous insurance or call center experience
• Experience handling inbound calls and/or high-volume customer inquiries
• Familiarity with insurance terminology
