Job Summary:
A Radiology Clinical Nurse position is available in Astoria, New York. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day. This role involves providing high-quality patient care within the radiology department, supporting patient safety, education, and interdisciplinary collaboration. The position offers rotating shifts, and the candidate will work with a team to ensure safe, compassionate, and efficient patient experiences.

Job Details:

• Location: Astoria, NY
• Schedule: Rotating shifts; one position from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, another from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM; minimum 37.5 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Bachelor of Science degree in nursing preferred; associate degree in nursing accepted with relevant experience or active enrollment in a BSN program; at least 2 years of ambulatory outpatient and radiation safety experience; minimum of 2 years' RN experience; 1 year of travel nursing experience preferred (not required for Per Diem roles)
• Preferred Qualifications: EPIC electronic health record experience highly preferred
• Additional Information: The role emphasizes outpatient care, radiation safety, patient education, and coaching. Experience with point-of-care testing and radiology is highly valued. This position requires strong documentation skills and the ability to support process improvement initiatives.
