Phylogenetics QA Reviewer for AI Model Evaluation

Join a premier project with one of the world''s leading AI labs as a Phylogenetics QA Reviewer. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and quality-checking complex phylogenetics and evolutionary-biology problems created by domain experts. Your primary focus will be to ensure the correctness, scientific rigor, and clarity of the data used to train and evaluate advanced large language models. Each problem will undergo multiple independent reviews, emphasizing the importance of your contributions. Key Responsibilities
- Review and assess the accuracy and quality of phylogenetics and evolutionary-biology problems.
- Verify the scientific rigor and clarity of data utilized in model training and evaluation.
- Provide detailed feedback and suggestions for improvement based on your assessments.
- PhD or advanced degree (or equivalent research experience) in Evolutionary Biology, Phylogenetics, Genetics, Genomics, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Molecular Biology, or Ecology & Evolution.
- Strong reviewing and QA instincts with the ability to rigorously verify the correctness of problems and their solutions.
- High attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
This is an hourly position, with compensation ranging from $55 to $80 per hour.
EligibilityCurrently, we are only accepting applicants from the U.S., UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
The screening process includes a short interview and task lasting 20-30 minutes, for which you will be compensated for up to 1 hour of onboarding time, including this task and a few onboarding videos if hired.
