What Youll Do
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with automation, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems using relevant principles.
- Install, configure, and calibrate automation systems, including PLCs, sensors, and actuators.
- Conduct inspections and tests on machinery to identify potential problems proactively.
- Collaborate with production personnel and other maintenance team members to address issues.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including lockout/tagout and arc flash safety.
- Document maintenance activities using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
What Were Looking For
- Proficiency with automation systems, electrical components, mechanical equipment, and hydraulic systems.
- Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting and welding.
- Knowledge of and adherence to lockout/tagout and arc flash safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret diagrams and operations manuals.
- Experience with preventative maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) is preferred.
- Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics is preferred.
