Base Pay $21.00 - $23.00 / Hour Employee Type Full-Time Non-Exempt General Information Company: Frederick Primary Care Associates, P.A. Job Title: Medical Billing and Coding Specialist Hourly Pay: $21-23 per hour depending on experience Additional Compensation: Annual bonuses (variable depending on office and performance) Schedule: Full Time (4 - 10 hour shifts) This position requires full-time, on-site attendance during the first 60 days of employment. Following this period, this role may have the opportunity to transition to a hybrid work arrangement, including one in-office day per week, based on performance. Medical Billing and Coding Specialist Essential Job Responsibilities: Enter CPT and ICD 10 codes accurately and expeditiously to ensure proper records handling Update patient demographic and insurance information as needed Assist and resolve patient inbound calls in a timely and courteous manner Responsible for processing any updated information for claims to reprocess and ensure timely payment Maintain constant professional communication with providers and other staff Other duties as assigned Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred Three (3) years of billing experience in a healthcare organization or setting CPC certification required Primary Care Billing experience required This position is eligible for the following benefits: Health Insurance (Single and Family) Dental Insurance (Single and Family) Vision Insurance (Single and Family) Vacation Accrual (2 weeks) Holidays (up to 6 days per year) Sick Leave (1 week/year - first year is prorated) Employer Paid Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability and Long-Term Disability #J-18808-Ljbffr GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY
